If you took part in the 1st week of the Amazing Cape Town Treasure Hunt and you didn’t manage to find any treasure, fear not because there are still plenty more out there and as of today, week 02 has started.
With week 02, comes some new and exciting treasures for you to go out there and find on the trails and mountains around Cape Town, including 2 x PUMA Hampers valued at R2,500!
Also, if you didn’t know there is an incredible R5,000 PUMA Hamper up for grabs, which will go out to the best photo OR video added to Instagram with the hashtag #MyActiveCityCPT, which best shows the Cape Town Active Lifestyle.

Week 02 – Clue 01 {FOUND & CLAIMED}
They say, “never stick your hand into a Lions mouth” and I say the same thing about dark holes, but sometimes doing just this can pay off with treasure, that can help with keeping things stable! To find today’s treasure, you’re going to have to not be scared of spiders and be willing to sweat, because once you have an epic view of Cape Town’s most famous strip, you’ll know it was worth the trip!

UPDATE to this clue: If you’re walking up the head, be sure to look to your right, because just after some stairs, before the path becomes too rocky, you’ll find a treasure.

Week 02 – Clue 02 {FOUND & CLAIMED}
Today’s treasure will take you on a stroll, because for some time now, a rock fall has halted traffic. Keep a lookout for some hidden history, because if you don’t you’ll miss out. Be sure to take a seat once found and enjoy some views of the city not many have seen before.

Week 02 – Clue 03 {FOUND & CLAIMED}
Every coastal city has a port and most of them have had castles, some hold larger amounts of people and others fewer. When searching for today’s treasure, be sure to keep left because if you don’t someone else will be the King of the Castle and you’ll be the dirty rascal.
Update: If you’re hugging a track that follows a pipe, be sure to look out for a map etched in steel.

Week 02 – Clue 04 {FOUND & CLAIMED}
Today’s treasure will be taking you on a road that hugs the coast and has great views. To get there can be tricky and easy to miss, so be sure to keep an eye out for a lion cub that never grows old. Be safe when searching, as there are some sheer drops, but if you’re willing to take take a risk, you’re sure to find a hidden location with sunset views for days!

Week 02 – Clue 05 {FOUND & CLAIMED}
If you’re into climbing, then today you’re in for a treat, because today’s treasure is sure to help you in the heat. You’ll know it’s been worth the trip, because this treasure is something to grip. It’s on a well known track, where many treasures have been found before, so look out for a big rock, that’s as ragged as a saw!

Week 02 – Clue 06 {FOUND AND CLAIMED}
Today’s adventure will be taking you to an old window that’s millions of years old, and when seen from the right angle, looks like a heart. Some say the Puma is also known as a Mountain Lion and today’s treasure will prove just that. Happy Climbing and BE SAFE because to get to this prize, will not be an easy task!

Some say trolls live under bridges, others say they don’t, but if you’re willing to look, you’ll be closer to the prize because today’s treasure is not necessarily under a bridge, but a little up from one, that lives on a track with a clear view of the pipe!

Week 02 – Clue 08 {FOUND & CLAIMED }
Today the treasure is hidden on a path many have taken before and one many will still take. There are two routes to get there, either up or down, which way you go, is up to you. Know this though, each route will be as challenging as the other so it doesn’t make a difference.
Some say the king & queen live here, because of the golden footprints on the ground, which if followed incorrectly, will leave the treasure unfound.
The treasure today looks onto a beautiful stream, which eventually forms a waterfall and is hidden in an area, where nobody will see. So be prepared to crawl and knock your head, because today is a prize you want to get!

If you’re into hugging lions, you’re going to love this new location that I’ve hidden this treasure in. When you get to the trees, you may be weak at the knees, but carry on for good measure because just past you’ll find a treasure! The treasure that awaits will not only be what I’ve hidden, but a view of the sunset that’ll leave you smitten!
